i never wated to write on this ...but i then i thought if its bothering me..i must share it... it all started with a fb post...a derogatory message was posted on fb regarding bal thakrey and shivaji...well,i see lots of derogatory comment about everyone and anyone on fb..i still cannt understand how this post caught attention of a shiv sena and some hindu fundamentalist group,as it was neither posted by a celebrety nor any imp person...it was by some nihal tahreer... it was met by voilent reaction in maharastra with exception of mumbai..vehicle and shops were torched of minority community...roads were blocked..ppl sat on dharna for arrest of accused...till then identity of person was not clear... then a less known fundamentalist organisation killed an IT tech in pune...REASON---he LOOKED LIKE muslim...he was wearing skull cap and was having beard...first time i heard in india that someone got killed just because he LOOKED LIKE muslim... later on when issue got out of hand then police got in action..first finding was that fb account of nihal tahreer was fake,infact it was created by nishan ,an RSS activist..who was emboldened by modi victory and wanted some action... if one can remember this is not the isolated incident to create communal disharmony by RSS activistes..one can remember last year when a RSS activist was caught red handed hoisting pakistani flag in a muslim area in karnataka... RSS activists are doing what they are supposed to do...but my surprise is,as people came to know about identity of real culprit,demand for justice fizzled out..shiv sena gone into hiding..no dharna..no arson..no bandh...even media got busy else where... so question arises is....FIRST..will derogatory remark upon a politician will amount to arrest?..if one go through facebook..one can see how people abusing father of nation..nehru.. even in this election sonia and manmohan singh were contunuously hurled abuse by bjp party /modi and vice versa...they called each other from maut ka saudagar to khooni panja...even some post went very personel..even linking manmohan and sonia.. and i dont think he is any more special than these national level politicians...but it was never met these type of reaction..or is it that politician can hurl abuse at a politician..no commoner has that right... same abt shivaji..one can see abuse against any king from babar,aurangzeb to ashoka...how one can become more sacred from others..why this double standard?... SECOND query is...once everyone came to know that real culprit is not muslim,why everyone reaction mellowed down?...why shivsena/any sawabhimani org not ransacking his home,now that real identity established...or is it that,people react differently by seeing who is owner of post..same post to be met with different reaction depending upon religious identity of owner..tolerence power differes..this is nothing but fanatism... when i first objected to demand to ban on aazan by small hindu group just after modi victory,my modi supporters friends coaxed me to just ignore them..and i told them that if this is not discouraged,is will seen as green signal to go for bigger assignment... our pm modi is hell bent to carry the tradition of manmohan singh to remain silent...no reaction when gas prices to increase from 4 to 8...he was silent when there was controversy regarding affidifit of his ministers..he is silent when diesel price increases every week...he is silent when bjp ministers cominng in support of mulayam singh on rape issues...he is silent when people are killed just because they are muslim.. he is doing lot of good work in ministries but his silence on this issue will give a very wrong message...already his victory is being celebrated by hindu hardliners..his silence will be construed as a message to them to go ahead..just by blaming state of law and order wont work...modi already had a blot of post godhra roits..his silence here will only add to his reputation...his silence will be celebrated by hardliners,may be he dont want to annoy them... achche din aane wale hain...but for whom?...i hope its not only for ambani and aadani...i hope its for everyone with exception of religious extremist... and last,im still confused whether this issue really needed the attention im giving?...this topic cannt find place on wall of any of my non-muslim friends,who keeps updating every imp news...OR importance of news too depends on religious identity of a person?
