i tend to see a pattern here. people with relationship issues, whether romantic or otherwise. being social is healthy, but when you start to rely on people as your only source of happiness, ironically you will never truly be happy. learn to enjoy your own company. be kind to yourself. treat yourself to something nice. embrace the things you love, regardless of what others think. And then, (if you so choose) pursue some social activities. because once you know who you are, what you like and what youre capable of, you will attract the right people, who in turn will want to be with you more than random people you cling to out of loneliness. one of my favorite sayings, is when you are getting your door painted, you dont tell the painter (or sales person if youre doing it yourself) all the things you dont like. this isnt the most helpful. tell them what you DO like, and be specific. and then, you get what you want. and remember through it all, act with dignity and respect. finding yourself and become pushy or obnoxious about things will get you nowhere. be subtle. be gentle. just be you. ok. thats my psychology spiel for the day. enough of that. i need to go put pants on and go for a walk. :P
