in Cairo - its hot and sticky - and i am going to go home and have chicken curry with peas and rice - janaican style. trying to keep it cosmopolitan. been a sensible weekend, well apart from thursday night which by law is dancefloor insanity followed by terrace relaxation and confusion getting home - atleast this time i beat the Sun, but only just!!! its the new badge of honour - the imam calls the faithful to prayer and you know its time for bed..... and i keep on blowing it with the dutch rabbit trainer - 5 times now, i dont think she will be coming back for more - but she always seems to come along at the same time as a really good track ..... and you cant stop the music!!! all those in Europe worried about financial crisis should see the scale of economic disaster that is Egypt, the grey ladies work 8 hours a day for $70 a month.... and they are considered to be doing OK. my boab lives in a tent in the garage below our apartment with his wive and family, i have to remember to keep coins in my pockets to have money for the street kids.... but the patience and respect that people show to one another regardless of economic situation is a lesson to all. big decisions ahead but hopefully a sensible path can be steered and the plight of all can be improved, so many people with simple practical affordable solutions to problems and ideas to grow ....... lets see
