it saddens me to no end to think that we (Americans) are divided once again. im sad that another young man lost his life because he made poor choices. im sad that people are making jokes again about something so serious... im disgusted that the media feeds into these types of crimes. but i guess its kind of hard not to when u have the Al Sharptons n Jesse Jacksons of the world crying HATE CRIME or pulling the race card everytime an (African) American is killed by a (White) American.... where are the (White) Americans Als and Jesses? because believe it or not, (White) Americans are killed by (African) Americans too. and i know for a fact that (White) Americans commit crimes as well. these two men alone cause more turmoil amongst us and its disheartening. when are WE as (White African Asian or Hispanic) Americans going to stop labeling oursleves as White American, African American.....? when are WE as AMERICANS going to unanimously unite and teach our children that we are all equal regardless of race, age, religion or social standing? what about respecting your elders or authority figures? im not saying there arnt crooked cops, but had any of these young men (in general) had listened in the first place, they might still be here. but if they arent listening to us as parents.... the problem with our children today is: they were either brought up by parents that were still children themselves and didnt raise their children properly because they were to busy still being children, or parents that work such ridiculous hours, that theyre never home to parent their children, or buying them things to get them out of their hair, shut them up or because everyone else has it.... the kids today have no respect for anyone and think everything should be handed to them. theres no discipline anymore and who do we have to thank for that? until we as parents start taking a more active role in our childrens lives, im fearful for OUR childrens future. its only going to keep going downhill from here if WE dont start making the changes needed... (this is a generalization and not specific to anyone in general or on here.) ❤️2 all n gn
