kia ora my whanau a few weeks ago Jason,Francis and Dad (koroheke) went to Otorohanga. while we were there we went to visit our marae (Te Kotahitanga ) and also the urupa to visit nanny and grandad, nanny and koko and our cousin Ray Ray Linstead while we were up the urupa we took pictures of nan and grandads head stones as you know it has sunk in between them and the plaques they need a good refurbishing so when the reunion comes around we can unveil there headstones. At the moment Paul has taken on the task of making this happen so if anyone got any input about the refurbishing or want to help paul please contact paul so we can keep the cost down because as you know things do come at a cost. After we left the urupa we went to our marae. When we got there it was like im home while we were there we ran into nanny May and her daughter Kitty Te Kanawa who are very close whanau and also committee members of the marae who are always keeping our marae well maintained. We discussed about our do and donts and whats was required from us with the marae. We left the marae and went to visit nanny Pera McDonald (aunty Bella) who is the younger sister to our Nanny Sylvia so everyone look her up on fb she on here any way we talked about our reunion and what were her thorts on it and as you know we got the thumbs up.I asked her if she would come to our gathering and she said try stopping me. Nanny Pera had some ideas for us as well as she is going to be a big part of our reunion as well as uncle louie and uncle willie. We found out that nanny Lucy is not well who is another sister to our nanny Sylvia So please nanny lucy get well and we are all thinking of you .After we finished our korero Auntie laurel and Auntie Christine turned up daughters of nanny Pera and they sung us some waiatas from maniapoto and we taped them it was beautiful to listen to them sing so i will put some waiatas on here and please whanau learn them cause we will be singing a couple of them. but the most thing i or we do have to do is thank all the whanau and everyone that got us to this point from the bottom of our hearts we thank you very very much but my most thank you goes to my cousin Jason Cameron for being there with me chur my cuzzie
