most officials, policy makers do not practice ROBREDOS TSINELAS LEADERSHIP....... they do not experience going to the palenke and doing the marketing themselves...... and therefore, ........ they can not wisely make policies/ ordinances relative to waste minimization by eliminating unnecessarily generated wastes........... In other LGUs with pro-active and dynamic leaders, even the use of plastic straws in serving softdrinks in restaurants, canteens, sari-sari stores is prohibited.......... single use, disposable packaging are unnecessarily generated when market goers and LGU Officials do not believe in a practical way of reducing trash, the B.Y.O.B. Policy......Bring Your Own Bag, sako bag, cloth bag, bayong, any reusable bag... bring your tupperwares for wet goods.... It can be done......... unless we all resign to the convenience of disposable packaging........... then, we are losers, a bulk of our taxes will go to hauling of our garbage including unnecessarily generated single use, disposable plastic sando bags to who knows where.......
