mple Gambian Citizen and a stakeholder in the National Resources - TopicsExpress

mple Gambian Citizen and a stakeholder in the National Resources of the Gambia and governance issues like all other Gambian and an Advocate for the consolidation of the existing Peace and Stability in The Gambia as a Republic. Therefore: Fellow Gambians i think We are all collectively responsible for the current plight and uundesirable situation in which the greater majority of Gambians living in outside The Gambia now find themselves in under APRC Rule. Now i learn our problem in The Gambia is not President Yaya Jammeh BUT OUR OWN SELFISH and INDIVIDUALISM ATTITUDE as GAMBIAN CITIZENS from independence in 1996 to Date 2013. WHY are Gambians insulting President Yaya Jammeh today? I do not like this insults against our President Yaya Jammeh because we MUST NOT INSULT our President instead we Must treat him with the due respect as head of State of The Republic of The Gambia. I do not hate President Yaya Jammeh and have no reason to hate him. However, we as Gambians MUST react to all what he is doing as our President to be able to consolidate on the existing peace. I think both President Yaya Jammeh and all the Opposition Leaders claim to be motivated to rule The Gambia in the best Interest of The Gambians. not withstanding all the possible odds commited under AFPRC and APRC Rule in the Gambia since in 1994 July 22nd, i think to be honest we all can agree that President Yaya Jammeh has also contributed positively towards the much needed Insfracstructual development of the Gambia, he built a University, roads, schools airport and hospitals as well as trained qualified MedicalDoctors who are now serving the Gambia and therefore he needs to be commended for this immense contribution towards national development. Today what we need is national dialogue between the oppositions and the ruling APRC Party to address the political IMPASS; We Gambians need a REFERANDUM to make the relevant "ELECTORAL REFORMS " being advocated by the Opposition Partiesin The Gambia; to put a 2 Presidential Term Limits of 5 years each and 2 rounds of votings during Presidential elections in The Gambia; When the President Yaya Jammeh accept these Electroral Reforms in The Gambia; President Yaya Jammeh will be remember as one of the greatest Leaders in Africa and if he fails to do this National demand the future for him will be very uncertain and very bleak; Now for the interest of national unity; the consolidation of the existing culture of peace built since PPP and NOw APRC Rule President Yaya Jammeh need to look at Best Practices in Electoral Laws within the Sub region such as in Ghana, Sierralene and Senegal and in the best interest of his positive legacy as President of The Gambia because i thinkit is never too late to change for the betterof humanity
