often times, children exhibit signs of degenerative lower limb disorders that go unnoticed. Started a plan of care for an active 9 year old today with early onset PTTD. He presented with pain, severe over pronation, and ankle deformity which resulted in severe gait abnormality. We began phase 1 of his plan of care with our prothotics ultra arch to acclimate him to orthotic correction with customs to be made every few months. After initial assessment and prothotics, he has "less pain" and his legs are more straight now rather than "bow legged." This will have a positive impact on the entire skeletal system, including his knees.
