recently i bought a property built by - VGN builders, chennai- property name - FERNDALE, mogappai eri , chennai. there are several urgent pressing issues seeking involvement and resolutions of same to come from buider with no proper response and action despite paying Rs2/- per sft as maintenance. 1. we have a RO plant which is like a white elephant - yet even drinking / proper potable water is not provided after spending over a crore for a flat. Pipe water stinks like sewage water. Metro water is given 1 hour daily – full of chlorine – free skin boils for users. 2. the approach road is like a slum area approach ( full of mud, slush, puddles, pot holes, boulders- recently I spent 20k on my car as a bonus to living at VGN) and inside the flat paving blocks are all uneven, rain water harvesting drains are all broken with dust bins placed over them for children not to fall into. 3. stp is not functioning properly and so sewage water is over flowing everywhere. 4. no serious official from the builder have come to inspect and take corrective action but for some jokers who hang around with a monthly meeting where they do nothing but lecture and give excuses. 5. recently, a roof plastering fell off in one flat breaking the cot in the bedroom of a flat and the builder is giving lame excuses for the same. Corrective action asked for came in the form of an inspection team to check all flats for roof plastering faults - my flat almost all rooms and bedrooms are to be re- plastered due to the flaw on the side of the builder. i have to undertake the risk of the roof plaster not falling off until the work is done - if they plan to re-plaster. 6. Car parks not marked yet 7. Contact details are not updated in the system by your customer service team for over 7 months despite supporting documents and frequent follow ups. 8. OTS terrace openings – do not have any grills and enough space for children to crawl into – repeated reminders have no effect on your staff. 9. Sump tank openings have to have a manned staff member always if they have to be opened or should be closed – reminded and requested – but no care for safety of inmates and kids. 10. Only one access road in a dead end, despite other access roads available – so in case there is a problem and the road I blocked you and your vehicles are all stranded outside the flat. This is a major lack of provision especially in case of an emergency. 11. I seriously pray that the owner of VGN gets to see this post and take some corrective action internally within the organization as all the occupants of this project – VGN FERNDALE are crying with no relief for the pain caused by you and your firm in our ever day lives. 12. I invite you to please come and stay at our flat for a few days to understand the full-size of all these pressing issues. I pray it may rain as well during your stay for you to experience the trauma you cause us as we wade through the mud puddles, skid, slip and fall many a times. IF YOU ARE BUYING FROM VGN - BEWARE - is all i have to say. Once bitten twice shy. I will never buy from these guys again. LESSON WELL LEARNT.
