remember my post the other day about this? actually, you probably dont. nobody pays attention to my Superman stuff... BUT I told ya! The report suggests that the destruction that took place in Metropolis during Man of Steel did not go unnoticed by the United States government, and that the U.S. is of the mind to place blame on Superman, since his presence on Earth is what attracted General Zod to the planet. The public blames him for all the death and destruction. If it wasn’t for Superman being there, General Zod would have never come to Earth. It’s an interesting way of echoing the common criticism from certain parties that Man of Steel featured too much wanton destruction. there was a REASON for that destruction. the director and writer (brilliant guys) were setting you up for this. again, Luthor has a problem with Supes alien origin in many of the comics, considers Superman a threat, and the Bat will, too. hence, the title of the upcoming film.
