~so Good News came from Kenzies clinic visit and orthopedic appt! (Other than the fact that they are just getting out of there!)Her labs look great other than her eosinophils are really elevated again. This seems to be either allergies of some type or GVHD somewhere....so they have started her on Claritin daily and when we go back on the 30th or if she were to develop symptoms before then they will start her on steroids again. Her platelets are 61000! The last time they were this high was right before relapse last April! This means her bone marrow seems to be firing on up and reproducing everything it should! Her platelet count earlier this week was 43000! We are shooting for 100000! So keep praying! Her orthopedics didnt see any signs of necrosis in her bones. Her bones did appear to be white washed on the X-rays and scans but they believe its from the chemo~steroids~radiation and meds shes been on! Her BMT Dr just spoke with Tommy again and told him that He couldnt be any happier with the progress Kenzie has made! Especially since just a few months ago she had positive MRDs! Hes so excited for her! Please keep our friends~Drs and nurses from 8QB and Stem Cell in your prayers in the coming days! Especially those who will be in the hospital or working over Christmas and are battling extra hard for their lives at this time! We have been blessed~and we look forward to celebrating the Birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in our new home together with our friends and family this year! Dont forget to count your blessings(especially the little things) and dont take this life weve been given for granted but look at it as a gift~as a way to serve your fellow man and share the love of Christ!
