talked to my dad yesterday and he was like a kid telling me about his trip to DC. He and about 56 others from Utah were flown to DC on what they call the Honor Flight to see the WWII memorial and many other sites. He was blown away at peoples reactions. While in the airports people stopped and applauded them and when they were at Arlington Cemetery after the changing of the guard about 200 school children walked by and shook every mans hand and said thank you for your service. My dad said he has never had so many tears in his eyes as he did this week. Its nice to know that there are those that are still teaching our kids about the sacrifices our military families make...my only wish would have been to experience it with him.
