#throwback Come to think of it, without broad minding producers like K.R.S. Chisty, Run Run Shaw, Loke Wan Tho and Ho Ah Loke, therere no such big name in Malay film industry of golden era like P, Ramlee, Jin Shamsudin, Noordin Ahmad, S. Romai Noor, Ahmad Mahmud, Aziz Jaafar, Umi Kalsom, Neng Yatimah and the list goes on. Honestly, our Malay talent are just not a thinker, we are an avid waiter; and weve been waiting for almost 50 years and counting. Frankly, thinking done by the non Malay, waiting game by the Malay. If nothing pickup, Malay will rather sit at one corner waiting. Likewise, without RTS, SBC, TCS and now Mediacorp, which successfully run by non Malay, the Malays are just as good as Kampong hero and heroin. So, why should we glorifies the Malay so called Seniman & Seniwati of yesteryear when they really cannot be existing at all without these non Malay producers who work their shit off to develop the Malay talent and the industry?. Shouldnt we talk more about these producers and spur interest for the Malay to open their eye? Or the Malays are just plain lazy to think? Former Prime Minister of Malaysia knows better.
