today in daily monitor newspaper on page 6, uneb blames parents for taking their children in private schools. this was in contrast to the way the headteachers had eaten s4 students money meant for registration of uneb uce exams. i think uneb should come up with a an account thru which registration money should be deposited so that parents pay directly rather than entrusting these unscrupulous headteachers or director of studies who embezzle the money. uneb should stop this lamentation and issue out practical mechanism that will curb the vice which has become a perenial tradition of unproffessional school managers every year. the reason why parents take their kids to private schools is that upe/use school majority of them lack standard we all know its attendant problems just visit last years uwezo report on the performance of use/upe schools which is worse compared to private one which becoz of stiff competition associated, there is guaranteed quality of education given to our young generation
