… today was a beautiful day… it has been “Family Focused” from beginning to end… between Bruce and I we have five wonderful children… this morning the youngest (Ashley) flew out with her fiancé to marry on the beautiful beach of Hawaii… in two days we will officially have a new member of the family, our new son-in-law Rob (In my heart he has been family since the first day I met him)… ... Sister, Tristynn and I went to Beaumont and hung out this morning… than went to pick up Ms. Tessa at daycare… I was able to pop into the babies area and spend a little time with those two adorable twin grandsons of ours… we than made a quick trip to Vidor and did a “fly-by” to Mr. Po and Memom’s (Bruce’s mom and dad)… his dad has been having some heath issues, so I ask when you pray, please remember him… I was not fortunate to have a grandfather much less a GREAT GRANDFATER and it tickled me to see Tessa and Tristynn crawling up in his lap… you could see he didn’t feel well but these two little girls put a smile on his and Memom’s face… ... we than returned back to Beaumont where we spent almost **THREE HOURS** at Chuckee Cheese… once upon a time a "girls day out" consisted of a pedi, a mani and maybe a good "Tom Collins or Amaretta Sour" over lunch... I will gladly trade it all for the smiles and giggles of a child... I am “slap wore out” but it has been a beautiful day… … you know it is amazing how God works… three years ago I was crying myself asleep almost on a nightly basis… I so wanted to be a Gammy… I know I was wrong, because I was so envious of friends with grandchildren… and seeing the pain on my daughters face broke my heart… but I am so thankful that when the flesh is seeing nothing but impossibilities… the spirit was saying PRAY & BELIEVE!! … Therefore I say unto you, WHATSOEVER ye desire, when you pray, BELIEVE that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. (Mark 11:24) … so here I sit… feeling extremely blessed… not only did my God answer my prayers and make me a Gammy… and my beautiful baby girl a MOMMY… but God blessed me with Chase, Logan, Tessa, Tyler and Lucas. FAMILY is such a beautiful thing!!! Big Hugs
