very well done by United to make it through to the CL quarterfinals, RVP is extremely important for the team at present. the draw for the quarterfinals will be on friday and here is my look at it: besides United going through we also have Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, PSG, Chelsea, Atletico Madrid and Dortmund I think sadly that the 3 first teams in that list are all out of Uniteds reach, and that there are a couple of levels for United to climb to reach those teams (my guess before the tournament was that we would see Real and Bayern in the final). Atletico Madrid might be possible for United to beat, but they are a very scary team offensively and will continue to surprise many this season. Chelsea would probably have been possible if United were playing better in the league, but I think that Chelsea are a well-rounded team who might be a joker to win the whole tournament PSG with Zlatan up front I also rank higher than United. Despite this it would be the game I would most like to see, to find out how the defence in United (have been very porous this season) will try to contain Zlatan and the rest of the attacking line that the French have got. That leaves Dortmund and in my mind this is the only team that United would be the clear favorite against (not that they couldnt beat some of the other teams, but to me they wouldnt be favs in those games). Dortmund is the team accordning to me that played the least impressive in their last game, actually lost to Zenit at home and they were lucky to go through. Adding to this they will also be without top scorer Levandowski who will miss the next game with a suspension, and he is extremely important for the success of the German team. So if United get them in the QF then we would have a good chance. Here is my ranking of the teams that are left: 1. Bayern 2. Real 3. Barcelona 4. PSG 5. Chelsea 6. United 7. Atletico 8. Dortmund so the draw will be on Friday and it will be very interesting to see what games we will get. Will be back then with a more in depth look at the QF matchups.
