via Instapundit ~ "WHERE THOSE PLEDGE-WEEK CONTRIBUTIONS GO: NPR Shows Off Palatial New Facility. “Eager to show off the new facility, the organization offered a tour to members of the media Tuesday morning, starting with breakfast from their in-house chefs.”" Why in the world this radio station gets ANY tax money is beyond me. And why are they a 501(c)(3) tax exempt business? Same with PBS, why is it a tax exempt business that also gets tax dollars? These are businesses. They need to stand or fall on their own like all the other radio & TV businesses. It makes no sense to subsidize them.
