I am trying to build support so someone takes action. This has been going on for a year and a half. I figure if it keeps being passed around someone will step up and help me. I teach at William Bryant High School. Dissatisfied teachers have created a rogue blog titled Bryant High School the Inside Scoop. I have filed complaints with the UFT, the Department of Education Office of Equal Opportunity, Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer and the Police Department. Bullying is unacceptable in all aspects of our society. I find it even more deplorable that New York City Teachers are bullying their coworkers. I do not feel safe at my school. I have worked there for 22 years. I am an instructional lead, I mentor new teachers and on my last observation I was rated on 18 of the 22 components of the new teacher evaluation system. I received 14 highly effectives and 4 effectives. I feel this is a story that needs to be known by our society. I do not think taxpayers will be happy to know teachers that are supposed to teach tolerance are teaching hate.
