was sick over the weekend, but it ended bittersweet. On Sunday, I said my final farewells to my homie Romel D Cobb , at a BEAUTIFUL home going celebration of his life. Although Its still so unreal. He was loved so much and it showed. There was barely standing room left, and over $7,000 of his $8,000 expenses goal was raised for his funeral in 4 days! And the fundraiser is still going if any of you knew him and still would like to fundraise, its here: gofundme/h5ih6w The memories and kind words people had were so heartfelt. AND TRUST ME, IVE BEEN TO PLENTY FAKE funerals where we know folks ARE STRAIGHT lying about the person that died like they were a saint knowing full well they were a HOT MESS lbvs Nevertheless, Romels passing put things back in perspective again for me made me wonder about myself. Do I appreciate life and those in it as much as I should? Am I loved as much among my people and community? Have I impacted others lives so much that if something happened today, people would pull together and send me off respectfully? Of course, in a perfect world, we would all have life insurance to cover our own expenses, but life or death doesnt happen that way for everyone. #DeepThoughts #RIPRomel #RIHRoRo #FarewellRome
