you ever notice that people today always act as if they never have enough? we always seem like we want more. we want more money. we want better cars, bigger homes. we want to have the latest fashions, and the newest electronics. we constantly seem to want, want, want. it seems like many times people arent satisfied with their lives because they always feel like they should have, and in some cases they feel they deserve, more than what they currently have.and yet, what they dont realize, or need to remember, is that they have been blessed with so much more than they could ever ask for. God blesses us abundantly all the time, and so often we fail to see it. each day He blesses us by giving us another day to live life. another day to be with our family. another day to see our children grow. another day to spend holding the spouse we love. He blesses us with food on our table, a roof over our heads. He blesses us with His infinite love and joy. He blesses us with a promise of a future in His kingdom. a future where we will know nothing but prosperity, hope and unending love. He blesses us with this and so much more. so when we stop to realize it, we have an abundantly rich life, that is filled with more than we could ever ask for, or deserve. and God gives us all of it simply because He loves us. so, let us stop constantly searching, and yearning, for more and more in life, and realize that we truly have more than enough. in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen. Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” -Hebrews 13:5(ESV) “You shall not covet your neighbors house; you shall not covet your neighbors wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbors.”-Exodus 20:17(ESV) And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.-Philippians 4:19(ESV) 1 The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. 2 He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. 3 He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. 4 Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. 5 You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. 6 Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.-Psalm 23(NLT) 25 “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? 27 Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? 28 “And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, 29 yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. 30 And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? 31 “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ 32 These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. 33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.-Matthew 6:25-33(NLT)
