youtu.be/yLZEyWlxh-w Chord Talk...What are CHORD INVERSIONS? Using this chord chart and listening to the video below... Click here for the chart: https://facebook/photo.php?fbid=978142765546747&set=gm.811824358877864&type=1&theater I will explain chord inversions. I wrote the chords out exactly the same way I am playing them. Notice there are three A7 chords. An A7 requires the 1-A, 3-C#, 5-E, b7-G notes from the A Major Scale 1-A 2-B 3-C# 4-D 5-E 6-F# 7-G# 8-A Note: b7 means the flatted 7. An A7 chord uses a b7 unlike a AM7 chord - (A Major 7) that uses the 7. Notice the letters under the various A7 chords in the chart. 1*3*b7 / 3*5*b7 / 3*b7*1 The required noted are stacked in different orders. Also, a 3 string CBG can only play 3 note chords. So, for an extended chord (4 note chord) a note must be dropped resulting in the remaining chord implying the full chord. This approach is easier to understand than you think. Why only have one A7 chord, when you can choose from three to meet your song arranging needs? Check out instructional video CD 6: ebay/itm/331449031784…
