అజరామర సూక్తి अजरामर सूक्ति Eternal Quote कर्पूर इव दग्धोऽपि शक्तिमान् यो दिने दिने नमोऽस्त्ववार्यवीर्याय तस्मै कुसुमधन्वने- लोचन కర్పూర యివ దగ్ధోపి శక్తిమాన్ యో దినే దినే నమో స్త్వవార్యవీర్యాయ తస్మై కుసుమధన్వనే - లోచన పరమేశ్వరుని మూడవకంటికి ఆహుతి యగుటచే కర్పూరము వలె కాలి పోయి, మన్మధుడు , అనంగుడైనా అందరి హృదయాలలో కోరికలను నింపుచునే యున్నాడు. ఎంతటి బలశాలియో చూడండి. తనువే లేకున్నా తన బాధ్యతను మరువనివాడు.తన కుసుమబాణాలతో అందరి హృదయాలలో ప్రేమ చిగురింప జేయుచునే యున్నాడు. ఆయనకు కాముడు అన్నది మరొక పేరు.మన సనాతన ధర్మములో ప్రతి పేరుకు ఒక వ్యుత్పత్తి వుంటుంది. మన్మధుడు అంటే మనస్సును మధించే వాడు.అంటే మనసును చిలికే వాడు. మరి ఒక కోరిక మనలో కలిగించి (మంచిదో చెడ్డదో ) అది నెరవేరే వరకు లేక ఎదురు దెబ్బ తగిలేవరకు మదన పరుచుతూనే ఉంటాడు. కాబట్టి మనసు ఇల్లయితే అందు ఆహ్లాదము కలిగించు అగరుబత్తి వెలిగించేతే ఆహూతులను ఆకట్టుకొంటుంది అదే ఆయిల్లు అమెధ్యమునకు ఆలవాలమైతే క్రిమి కీతకములకు ఆలయమౌతుంది. అందుకే వేదము ఆనో భద్రాః క్రతవోయంతు విశ్వతః అన్నది. అంటే దశ దిశలనుండి నాపై సద్భావనా వీచికలు ప్రసరించు గాక అని. అప్పుడే అమిత బలశాలియైన మన్మధుడు మనలో నిజమైన ప్రేమను వెలయింప జేస్తాడు. कर्पूर इव दग्धोऽपि शक्तिमान् यो दिने दिने नमोऽस्त्ववार्यवीर्याय तस्मै कुसुमधन्वने- लोचन कर्पूर जैसा जलकर अनंग होनेसेभी मन्मध हमारे दिलों में उमंग भरना नहीं छोड़ा | इस से यह पता चलता है की वे कितना बलवान है| उसीलिये हम कितना कोशिश करने से भी उसे अन्दर आनेसे नहीं रोक सकते | थो भलाई इसी में है की उसे अन्दर आनेदे | लेकिन कब ? जब हम हमारे दिल को साफ़ सुतरा रखते हैं | अगर मन घर होता है तो उस में खुसबू फैलाने वाली एक अगरबत्ती जलानेसे आने वाले मेहमान भुत उल्लास से अन्दर आते हैं | अगर घर में गन्दगी ही है तो कीदेक मकूदे ही आयेंगे | उसी लिए रुग्वेद ऐसा बोलता है आनो भद्राः क्रतवो यंत्हू विस्वतः (दशा दिशाॐ से मेरे तरफ सद्भावना परम्परा ही आता रहे | ) थो मन को साफ़ रखना इतना जरूरत है | karpUra iva dagdho.pi shaktimaan yo dine dine namo.stvavaaryavIryaaya tasmai kusumadhanvane - lochana He who, even after being burnt like camphor, gets stronger day by day, salutations to that unsuppressable hero, Manmadha , who holds the flowery bow. How ever cupid is not equivalent to Manmadha as per Mythology. Camphor sublimates without even leaving behind the ashes. Similarly, legend says that, Lord Shivas third eye burnt Manmadha with no remnants left behind. But this non-personification of Manmadha hasnt reduced his influence in any which way! Whether Manmadha himself has a body or not doesnt matter. When he strikes one with his the arrows, his influence grows stronger and stronger by the day. The poet opines that it is not even in ones own hands to ward Manmadha off. Love is so powerful. Love looks not with the eyes, but with the MANAS. Isnt that why he is called manoja (born in the MANAS)! If our body is the house keep an insense stick burning in it. The guests love to come . If it is filth that is placed in the house only insects and bacteria come. So keep your heart clean then only the desires to promote your personality enter .That is why Rig Veda says aano bhadraaH krathavoyanthu viswataH meaning Let noble thoughts come from all sides.
