I miss every bit of it and I’m sure lots of people did too especially those locked up in the mountains of Australia, Hills of Chennai and Bangalore in India, Northern side of Tunisia, walls of Germany, Oil fields of Canada, Lesotho, Kenya, Philippines, etc. I mean everyone far away from home would miss melody of Yoruba Hymns. Oh my friends groaning under this ecclesiastically orthodox mode of worship; savour every bit of it while it last. Someday your hungry soul would desire it, especially when such tunes are no longer fashionable or within reach. Yes! It may seem awkwardly medieval now, albeit in a few years, a generation would not know such tunes. We are being pulled away by the ‘penterascalism’ of today’s model. Hymns all the way.....
