(¯`•´¯) ★.¸¸.•*~ *• ¸.•*☆ * ★.¸¸.•*~~ When we put God first in our lives , everything else falls into its proper place. It wont happen overnight, but life will slowly evolve as we grow in the Lord. Like an artist working in stone, the Lord slowly, but persistently chips away at all that does not belong in our lives until all that is left is His masterpiece. He created us for a purpose. He has a specific plan for you. By seeking Him, His company, His direction, His presence in our lives, we are made aware of our need to adjust our priorities in life to work towards His will and His plan. By surrendering control of our lives to God, the Holy Spirit is able to change the desires of our hearts from our self directed outlook into Gods desires for us. It no longer is a struggle of will, because He transforms our desires. It all comes down to surrendering. That seems like too big of step for some, but it is actually just a continuing series of very small steps throughout your day. It is an on going conversation with Him, and an acknowledging of Him. Prayer isnt always getting on your knees in the privacy of your home for a one on one conversation with the Lord. Often times it is simply acknowledging in our minds to him...yep, Lord, I messed that one up. Can you help me to do better than that. ...a hundred other little unspoken thoughts to Him in the course of your day. ~~Melinda Samaan
