-walks into the crowded room and clears his throat as he steps up to the mic- Today in a sad day in the world of characters. Robin Williams died today by his own hand. He was loved by many because of his CHARACTERS. Without them he would never have been known. Many people are known by their characters only, even in here. We, as a group of characters should understand something. Our characters are sometimes the most significant part of our lives. Some of us are sick. Cancer, Chrons, Lupus, advanced liver disease, Depression, Etc.... We as other roleplayers fail to realize that behind every CHARACTER is a person. A person that is sometimes suffering from a variety of things that we as CHARACTERS never know. Thats why they create these characters. To escape. To be loved. To be accepted. To be apart of something bigger than than they can be in their time of either physical or mental weakness. Its so important for people to realize this before they make a rude comment on any status. I myself, am guilty of this many times and I pray for forgiveness. Maybe the death of Robin can make a difference. You never really know what ANY character is going through. So I ask that everyone shows love and support to EVERY CHARACTER in our world of roleplay. Because you never know when that mean comment will be the last straw no matter how happy a character always seems. Honor your neighbor, your brother, your sister in this world. If they need help with something, well, help them. Sometimes Gods calling comes from unexpected directions. If they are being mean ask why and tell them that you are concerned. Tell them that you respect their decisions instead of berating them. Because you never know the person behind the character. God bless you all.
