8 years removed from school I return. This time to the University of Oregon. Admittedly, I wasnt quite ready for college level courses. Subsequently I didnt get stellar grades this first term. This next term I am ready though. Despite a rocky start, I cant imagine not being at school. With some guidance from friends and following my own heart I have become part of some projects, some personal and others will be collective collaborations. It feels right to be living in accordance with my goals, my values and my passions. I have met some quite amazing people and am quite sure I will meet many more. I have to thank my daughters for giving me the courage to step out of my comfort zone, my parents for instilling a hard work ethic into me, the American taxpayers for picking up my tuition, my friends for believing in me, and my loving partner for always supporting me. Thank you. I want to make all you proud.
