98% OF ASPIRANTS FAIL TEST FOR TEACHERS: Questions over the quality of teacher training in the country continue with more than 98% of aspiring school teachers failing to clear the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2014. Just 13,428 of 7.50 lakh aspirants passed test, conducted in January by the Central Board of Secondary Education. In all 8.26 lakh aspirants registered for the test. About 7.50 lakh finally appeared for the test, of which only 13,428 managed to clear either paper 1 or 2 or both. Friends this is alarming for all of us, kindly discuss this matter with your close political leaders. Suggest what should be done by the political leadership to improve the level of basic education in the state/ country. Good afternoon friends and have a nice time.
