A NEW DAY OF JOY IS ABOUT TO DAWN IN ABIA STATE Many keep messaging me ASKING: >>> How can you solve the Electricity PROBLEM in Abia State when the Federal Government controls the Supply of power in the Country? LET ME HEREBY GIVE A HINT AS TO HOW I INTEND TO RESOLVE THE ELECTRICITY PROBLEM COMMENCING WITHIN WEEKS OF TAKING OFFICE AS GOVERNOR OF ABIA STATE. YES, THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF OUR NIGERIA CONTROLS AND MANAGES THE EPILEPTIC SUPPLY OF POWER IN THE COUNTRY. Presently Almost every Household and Business in the State OWNS a Generator operating on GASOLINE FUEL OR DIESEL FUEL. Businesses and Households suffer immensely due to the costs involved to maintain and operate these unreliable Generators and Mosquitoes love the mess especially at Night. THESE INDIVIDUAL GENERATORS GIVE RISE TO NOISE POLLUTION NOT TO TALK OF THE BAD FUMES THEY EMIT. IT IS A MESSY SITUATION. AS GOVERNOR I AM GOING TO STRATEGICALLY INSTALL ENERGY PRODUCTION STATIONS CONVERTING TRASH TO ELECTRICITY, TO KICK IN WHENEVER THE Federal supply fails. This will ensure that there is power at all times in the state. CONSIDER IT THAT THE STATE WILL HAVE OUR OWN STANDBY GENERATING STATIONS SUPPLEMENTING, NOT TAKING OVER THE FEDERAL MESSY CONTROL. BUT AS GOVERNOR I WILL NOT ALLOW ANY MOMENT OF DARKNESS OR POWER FAILURE IN THE STATE. WE WILL CLEAN OUR STREETS AND NEIGHBORHOODS BY CONVERTING ALL THE TRASH AVAILABLE TO ELECTRICITY and ready to step-in whenever the Federal supply fails anywhere within the state. THIS WILL ENSURE THAT THERE IS CONSTANT ELECTRICITY TO THE BENEFIT OF OUR BUSINESSES AND HOUSEHOLDS. IF A TRANSFORMER FAILS ANYWHERE WITHIN THE STATE, it will be restored or replaced the same day to ensure that no part of the state is left without power for even One day. BY THIS I INTEND TO RE-ORGANIZE OUR STATE WORKS DEPARTMENT MAKING MORE TRAINED, READY, MOBILE, RESPONSIVE AND EFFICIENT. Constant Electricity is the Engine to Economic growth and well being in this modern age. NO TANGIBLE PROGRESS IS POSSIBLE IN THE ECONOMY, HEALTH, EDUCATION, ETC. WITHOUT FIRST ENSURING THAT ELECTRICITY IS RELIABLY AVAILABLE. This will ginger New Industries and Manufacturing Operations to locate within the State for the proximity to reliable power supply. AS GOVERNOR I AM GOING TO CREATE MILLIONS OF NEW JOBS IN ABIA STATE and if anyone can count the number of jobs created then we have not done Enough. Every person who wants to work in Abia State will easily find a Job. THIS IS MY PLEDGE. I PLEDGE BRAND NEW WELL EQUIPPED HOSPITALS IN EVERY SENATORIAL ZONE IN THE STATE. And i want every Nigerian Leader, Government worker or to know that you no longer need to travel abroad for treatment. ABIA STATE HOSPITALS WILL OFFER COMPARABLE CARE TO THOSE ANYWHERE WORLDWIDE as foreign Doctors can easily come to attend to their Nigerian Patients using our Excellent Facilities. We will create thousands of additional Jobs in our Health sector promoting excellent health services to all and sundry in Abia State. AS GOVERNOR, I WILL ENSURE THAT ABIA STATE COMPLETELY ERADICATE MALARIA AND MOSQUITOES INCLUDING THE OTHER DISEASES THEY TRANSMIT. We will restructure and Modernize our Environmental Infrastructures eliminating GUTTERS (yes, no more Gutters in Abia State). I AM GOING TO INTRODUCE CURBS as is done in the United States of America thereby removing all the habitats where mosquitoes breed and thrive AS WE SAY GOOD-BYE TO MALARIA IN ABIA.
