A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has restricted traffic to one lane on KY 307 in HICKMAN County to allow ongoing construction of 3 bridges over Bayou De Chein in Hickman County. KY 307 is restricted to one lane with alternating flow controlled by an automated signal at mile point 4.6 to mile point 4.9. Motorists should be alert for slowing and stopped traffic as they approach the work zone. Work on this $4.7 million bridge replacement project started on June 20th. However, up until now the work required few interruptions of traffic flow.
