A few quick thoughts from McKennas Mind: 1. Ferguson kids denied a day of education AGAIN. So sad! 2. Two children had to go to the hospital because of tear gas burns? Who in the F would bring their kids to that area of Ferguson after 8PM? Those parents should never be able to fornicate again unless its in jail with a roomie. 3. People who say, just let the entire town burn down need to stop it right now. Most of the people in Ferguson are good people. They pay taxes and deserve to be protected. 4. Wow, maybe the St. Louis County Police Chief knew what he was doing after all? 5. KSDK changed their coverage a lil bit after the protest outside their building yesterday, eh? 6. Has that Alderman from the 21st Ward, (you know, the guy who deliberately got arrested and is trying to grab headlines every 3 minutes), gotten the coveted selfie or autograph with the Rev. Al yet? I refuse to mention his name on my FB page. 7. How long before people complain that the National Guard’s uniforms look too militant? What do you want them to wear- assless chaps and cowboy boots with an unbuttoned leather vest? This is some serious shit; not a night at The Muny!!! 8. I believe Charlie Dooley, Lacy Clay and other politicians when they say that tensions in Ferguson have been brewing for years. I have to ask Charlie and Lacy the following questions- You guys have been in your current elected positions since 2003 & 2000 respectively, right? What have you done in the last 10 years or so to solve those problem? Im not judging. Im just askin? 9. If you want the cop to get off because he is white or you want the cop to be convicted because he is white, you disgust me. We should all want the same things: truth, justice, peace, harmonic convergence and a better understanding of those who are different than us. 10. After a few drinks last night, I fell asleep with Fox2 on my tv. Every time I heard, hands up, dont shoot I couldnt help but think of Ron Jaworski, my JV basketball coach at Lindbergh High School. Weird but true. 11. I pray for a calm night everywhere!
