A good teacher can change your life, he can make difficult things easy for you, can guide you at difficult time and could show the path which you couldnt find alone. I am lucky that I got such teachers throughout my life, sometime as school teacher, sometime as college teacher, sometime as university teacher or sometime as corporate worlds teacher... Without their help I would be nothing... Today for some reasons I am missing one of my best teachers of life, name Faruk e Azam sir- a chemistry teacher at high school. Chemistry used to be the most difficult subject for me during high school. It was so tough to remember all the Isotope names, chemical reactions and signs. He made it easy for me by his unique way of teaching and explanations. I became the master of writing chemical reactions and formula. As a result I scored 98 in chemistry at Higher Secondly School exam. When some of my friends scored 98 marks in Mathematics I got that in Chemistry! An unusual subject indeed since no one I heard got that score in Chemistry at entire board!( correct me if I am wrong) Reflecting to this incident I think Muslims currently missing their true teacher. Who can guide with true learning of prophet Muhammad (sa:) It seems everyone is the teacher here! For some unknown reason this teacher student relationship of Muslim culture is lost and that gave birth of many teachers who are not worth even being a student of Islam... No wonder why some followers of this religion is moving to wrong direction and no one is taking the responsibility of it since there is no teacher...all wants to be Chalipha (ruler) not teacher... Muslim prophet Muhammad (sa:) took 40 years before even start preaching Islam. Most of the greatest teachers of Islam like Hanif (ra:), Shafi (ra:), Malik (ra:), Hambali (ra:) which are also known for 4 Majhab ( way of working) of Islam, all these people took at least 20-30 years of knowledge gathering, sometime alone and aloof at the Forrest or hills or in distant locations to self correcting themselves before preaching to others... Today the people we see in the leadership of Muslims, how many days they have spent on knowledge gathering? And can they really make the chemistry of Islam easy for followers? Or just they are making easy things difficult due to their ignorance? May Allah guide us all with right and true teachers with all aspects of life...
