A hypothesis of my music appreciation model: constantly guessing the next note based on what Ive heard so far and my generative model that I built by prior listening, and calculate the likelihood of what I actually hear. If the likelihood is high, then I feel good in the appreciation task. This model could explain why I just dont get the late 20 century music because I havent learned their patterns. I wonder if this model is true for everyone ...
