A man Akpos was on the top of a roof during a great flood. A guy came by in a boat and said; Get in, get in. Akpos replied; I have faith in God, He will grant me a miracle. Later the water came up to his waist. Another boat came by and the man on it told him to get in. Again, he responded that he has faith in God and that God will give him a miracle. With the water at his chest level, another boat came to rescue him, but he turned down the offer again saying that God will grant him a miracle. With the water at his chin level, a helicopter came and threw down a ladder. They told him to get in. Mumbling with the water in his mouth, he again turned down the offer saying that God will grant him a miracle. He arrived at the gates of heaven and said to an angel; I have been let down. I thought God would grant me a miracle. The angel replied; I dont know what you are complaining about. We sent you 3 boats and a helicopter. One word for Akpos.
