Ive been busy these past months exploring a new (for me) approach to poetry, which is, in itself, a new medium, as Ive mostly done visual art. A friend has encouraged me to share so.... DAWN UNAWARE First light, like metal fusing beside a lavender grey, morning sea. Lovely, strong, winey, warmth golden over the dark. The white roof rose delicately vaulted, The dawn, red widening, parting like an oyster shell. Heaps of shadow deposited rubbish, blotting out wild singleness. Silent, sun warmed stateliness of glaring light and rushing loneliness trips the light fantastic. The land sleeps on, nobody takes notice.
