A quick note from Mike Johnson (and a thank you in advance for your help and time): I never use my forum here to ask for help but I am today. Like many of you, I am a huge animal lover. A Queens, NY no-kill animal shelter known as Heavenly Angels Animal Rescue is unfortunately closing. Its a heart-breaking situation as they have been caring for a number of animals and now they desperately need to find foster and permanent homes for the 200+ animals they have been sheltering and caring for. These animals have NO place to go and the only other sad alternative to someone stepping up to help may be to pass them over to a NYC-controlled shelter, which means if they are not adopted, they will be destroyed. Some of these dogs are older and certainly, through no fault of their own, will be destroyed. Weve all have an animal weve loved dearly in our lives, so I ask you, in honor of them and what they brought to your life, PLEASE HELP ME ON THIS ONE! Pass the word on via social media!
