AN ELITE team of police officers from Britain and Europe will be joined by immigration officials to stop and search people from Poland, Lithuania and Romania in a nationwide operation to tackle foreign criminals. The five-day campaign, which starts tomorrow, is believed to involve more than 17 police forces in the UK, including officers from Scotland Yard and enforcement officials from the Home Office. Police officers from Poland, Lithuania and Romania will accompany them on the ground during the operation to target foreign-registered vehicles from the three eastern European nations. #HostileEnvironment
