ANGER: One of the great hinderance to the Child of God. If you are a person of anger, this is for you. One of the great attributes of God is that it takes a lot to anger him. The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. (Psalms 145:8 KJV) ......but thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not. (Nehemiah 9:17 KJV) While God can be angered, he also controls his anger and doesnt allow it to last. For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. (Psalms 30:5 KJV) Anger or Wrath can greatly hinder the Christian: Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. (James 1:19-20 KJV) Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this. (Ecclesiastes 7:10 KJV) He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated. (Proverbs 14:17 KJV) My friend, do not allow anger to become a part of who you are. Fight against it every day. It leads to Health problems and binds us as followers of Christ and eventually leads to bitterness! God bless you my friend.
