ARROW ROCK HOSTS EASTER PARADE Annual Parade And Egg Hunt Are Fun For All Ages (Arrow Rock, Mo.) The historic village of Arrow Rock is decked out in spring splendor for an annual tradition: the Easter Parade and Egg Hunt. The Easter Bunny will make a guest appearance in the village this Sunday, April 20, on Arrow Rock’s Main Street, near the boardwalk. The day’s festivities begin at 2 p.m. with an Easter parade down Main Street. All are welcome to join the parade. Arrow Rock merchants will award prizes for the most beautiful and outrageous Easter hats. An Easter egg hunt follows the parade. Hunt areas will be designated for toddlers, early elementary and older children. Parents are encouraged to bring their cameras; the Easter Bunny will be available for photos following the parade and egg hunt. These Easter Sunday events are free and appropriate for all ages. Arrow Rock is conveniently located on Missouri Highway 41 (Interstate 70 exit 98 if coming from the east, or 89 if coming from the west). The village of Arrow Rock has been designated a National Historic Landmark, the same designation bestowed to such revered sites as Mount Vernon and Monticello.
