All good things must ome to an end. Waiting at Zurich airport for flight to Singapore. Had a great last day in Basel. Today is Swiss National Day so because it is a public holiday, the celebrations start the day before! Central Basel is one big party zone with food stalls everywhere, all the breweries represented (although at F4.50 for 300ml it was a bit pricey), and a different band playing on every corner. And the best part? No trouble. No fights, no drunks, no wankers. To be honest, I could not imagine the same sort of thing happening in NZ, if the Mission Concert is anything to go by. When back in NZ i will post some pics.
