An update on Momma (Jean Napier) which has been a long time coming!! First I want to thank every single person who has ever said a single word in prayer for my momma, our family and this situation. The prayers of the righteous DO avail much!! Thank you from from the very bottom of my heart. Your prayers were heard and answered by God! We checked momma out of the Presbyterian Home in Quitman yesterday for good!! She is at our Florida house relaxing by the pool in her loner wheelchair & doing a little shopping (for a wheelchair) her nurse called to report in today. Later they are going to Walmart!! Smh... I know my momma is feeling better if she wants to go to Walmart! ! 😉 i stayed behind to get her house handicapped accessible & safe for her. Im going to get her & she will be back at home at the end of next week!!!! Praises and Glory and Honor to Him who has overcome!!! Praise be to God from whom ALL blessings flow!! He gave me Isaiah 35 either in the ER lobby while I was waiting to find out what happened to her or in the ICU waiting room (it was blur). I didnt fully understand then any of it. Not why the doctors had said what they did, how this couldve happened, what was really going in with momma because it wasnt true what the doctors said. Absolutely NOT acceptable to me because I knew what God had said - even at her house waiting on the ambulance. But God gave me the answer (Is. 35) before we got the problems (diagnoses from doctors & nurses/therapists, etc). When they moved her to ICU a few hours later, I called Sue to agree & pray with me over momma. I didnt know anyone else as qualified as Sue to pray against every kind of brain injury or damage. As we started to pray with the speakerphone on, God reminded me to get my anoiting oil out of my purse & anoit momma & myself. My anoiting oil was Isaiah 35 - A Time to Blossom. He confirms His Word. My mother has literally walked out Isaiah 35 over the past 7 months. Every time another negative came, I shut.myself away and cried out to God WHAT IS THIS?? He always always said, Go back to Isaiah 35 & read it again. The answer is in there. I just continued to hold onto that, reading every translation, praying and declaring that to & over momma. Ive told her Im going to tattoo it on her!! 😊 Sometimes Ive read it to her and she will say about a certain verse - that happened today! Seven means completion. It also symbolizes covenant, Gods Covenant with us. People used to seven themselves to each other, or make covenant with each other. This is beyond any promise we can understand with our natural mind. For example marriage is a covenant relationship -- it was created to never end. Out of the marriage of 2 people comes an entire family and every generation after that continues that Covenantal promise & relationship. I think it is appropriate that Momma is leaving the hospital & nursing home returning to her home after 7 months. She still has some issues to overcome but He has already given her a picture of the end of this thing in Isaiah 35. A man without vision soon perishes. Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things unseen (in the physical). She has a nurse and cannot get up and move without assistance. She is in a wheelchair & is getting an electric chair. She can walk (another miracle & praise report) with a walker for very short distances with people to catch her. That will improve with time. Her right hand and arm work sporadically. Her memory is coming back. she still has the hardest time with words - expressing herself which is hard for her, a former English teacher. Regardless, He is faithful. Worthy is the Lamb!! She is being made complete and He is showing her by bringing her out in the 7th month, His Covenantal promises of Is. 35 & that by His stripes she is healed. This is Isaiah 35 (The Voice translation): Imagine the wilderness weeping for joy, the deserts unbridled happiness with its spring flowers. It will happen! The deserts will come alive with new growth budding and blooming, singing and celebrating with sheer delight... The glory of the Eternal One will be on full display there, and they will revel in the majestic splendor of our God. So, with confidence & hope in this message, strengthen those with feeble hands, shore up the weak-kneed & weary. Tell those who worry, the anxious and fearful, Take strength; have courage! Theres nothing to fear. Look, here -- your God! Right here is your God! The balance is shifting; God will right all wrongs. None other than God will give you success. He is coming to make you safe. Then, such healing, such repair: the eyes of the blind will be open to me: the ears of the death will be clear. The lame will leap like deer excited: they will run and jump tirelessly and gracefully. The stutterer, the stammerer, and the tongue of the mute will sing out loud and clear in joyful song. Waters will pour through the deserts; streams will flow In godforsaken lands. Burning sands & hardened wastelands will become pools, shimmering with life.... And the road to this renovation will be clearly signed. People will declare the way itself to be holy--the route, sacred. Only those right who are right with God will be able to walk its pleasant path, And nobody--no visitor, dimwit-- will get lost along it. Therell be no lions or predators lying in wait, no predators or dangers in sight. Only those right with God will journey there. Those whom the Eternal One has recalled from a punishing exile , they will go along so easily. They will walk this path. Come waltzing to Zion, singing their way to that place of right relation to God. An aura of joy never-ending will attend them; they will clasp gladness & joy to their hearts. While sadness & despair evaporate into thin air.
