Anime SEIYUU 2014 is bombed by good quality sport anime. Means? A lot of new seiyuu must ‘donate’ their voices for that massive characters. I still like old seiyuu like those who contributed in Detective Conan and DDS, but these new comers can’t definitely be ignored. So let’s rank them together. 1. Sakurai Takahiro I don’t pick him as the first just because he’s so nice and cool. His voice has special character, especially his role as Miyuki Kazuya in Ace of Diamond. It’s ridiculous how he looks like THE REAL Miyuki Kazuya when he’s wearing glasses. Let’s say, if he never dubbed Miyuki Kazuya, he wouldn’t be in my top list even if I like him. 2. Miyano Mamoru He is known as Yagami Light in Death Note. If Miyuki Kazuya’s character never exists, I would have picked him as the first favourite. And what’s so special is his natural beauuutiful voice! I think no seiyuu’s voice can be compared to his. 3. Yamaguchi Kappei You sure know this old fellow. He dubbed Inuyasha, Kudo Shinichi, Kaito Kid, Kindaichi, Ranma and others. But his best-ever-voice acting is in Death Note, as L Lawliet. Trust me, he’s the best! 4. Ishida Akira You may like him as Gaara or Athrun Zala. Well, I do. But his voice is wonderful when he dubbed Karasu. But yeah, he’s the most popular seiyuu in Japan, and it’s a normal thing if we like his voice act so much. 5. Hino Satoshi The second guy who has a natural beautiful voice is Hino Satoshi. All the characters he dubbed are great, but I mostly like him in Haikyuu as Sawamura Daichi (you know, the captain). It’s surprisingly different than his role as Sai (Naruto) and Shinkai Hayato (Yowapeda). 6. Ishikawa Kaito Maybe he is the most handsome seiyuu in Japan. But his voice has strong character, too. I just watch 3 anime with him in it, but even before I browsed I knew that they were dubbed by the same guy. He has strong and solid kind of voice, so it matched his role so well as Kageyama Tobio, the main character in Haikyuu. 7. Uchida Maaya She has an unforgettable tender voice. Her role as Iki Hiyori in Noragami is my #1 most beautiful female seiyuu voice. She’s awarded as the best new comer of the year with Ishikawa Kaito. One word for her: Suteki!! 8. Kugimiya Rie If there’s a clever female seiyuu, it would be her for sure. Her voice is so unique, so I would directly know that it’s Kugimiya Rie although she appeared differently in each anime. But still it’s all beautiful. She catches my full attention better than Nakamura Chie (as Haruno Sakura in Naruto) or Kayano Ai (as Shiina Mashiro in Sakurasou) or Mizuki Nana (as Yufa in Ragnarok). 9. Kaji Yuki I knew him but never paid enough attention. But since he acted as Yukine, WOW I think I fall in love! Then I realize that he work together with Kamiya Hiroshi (Yato) in 3 different anime: first is Noragami, then in Ace of Diamond, and then now in Haikyuu! They’re always together, that’s so sweet… (bayangin Yato elus-elus kepala Yukine). They both get 2014 big awards, Kaji Yuki: Best Seiyuu of the Year, Kamiya Hiroshi: Most Popular Seiyuu of the Year. 10. Toochika Kouichi He’s an old professional seiyuu, and I LOVE his voice act as Amakusa Ryuu in Tantei Gakuen Q. Cool! You may prefer Fukuyama Jun or Hirano Aya or Irino Miyu, but these ten are the coolest seiyuu in my view. Are you an otaku? Mou sukina seiyuu ga attan desuka?? ^_^
