Another Praise Report... On Wednesday while on a Crime Prevention assignment at the Westroads, during my lunch break, I was motioned over to a table where 3 middle aged men were eating their lunch. I began to approach the table and noticed that 1 of the mens face was very familiar. I reached out to shake his hand and said I know you, did you go to Benson High. He smiled and replied, No I did not. We continued to talk while in my mind I continued to wonder how I knew this guy. Eventually it came to my remembrance that this guy was incarcerated at the County Jail when I was a Corrections Officer. He confirmed my remembrance and began to thank me for being a key instrument in the changing of his life. He went on to say that he remembered me calling his name for him to come up the bubble where the officers sat. He said once he got to the bubble that I had gave him a Scripture (Isaiah 53:1-5) to read. He said that that scripture got him to reflect on his life and that the change had begun from that moment. Fast forward to today.... Today, that same guy, who is also working at the Westroads doing construction work, approached me with a huge smile on his face. We both began to talk about how awesome GOD is... While I began to tell him how messed up I was and how I viewed life before Christ, he began to show me by the tattoos all over his body, how he was and how he thought before Christ. I had NO IDEA that this guy was a White Supremacist and had as he admitted to; preached hate all across America and Europe. The reason for this post and the pictures to show is to REMIND the Believer in Christ.., JUST HOW POWERFUL THE SHED BLOOD OF CHRIST REALLY IS. I am in Awe of His Power and Thankful to be in His will.
