Anyone who knows me, knows of my love for ancient history. - TopicsExpress

Anyone who knows me, knows of my love for ancient history. However, this has made me begin to reconsider ever watching, or believing for that matter, anything that the Documentary channel has to say. Ive watched documentaries giving ancient Greeks and Romans, and depending on the documentary, Middle easterns the accalades for creating mathmatics and language. The discovery of this Ishango Bone debunks everything Ive ever read or watched as as the discovery of this artifact suggests that mathmatics was being used in Congo 22,000 years ago. My question is, why havent I ever heard of this discovery? Why havent I seen a documentry about it? Why isnt there an excavation of the obviously sophisticated ancient african culture who essentially (if going by the date of the artifact) created mathmatics long before Egypt? https://youtube/watch?v=r_YkdxdAGX8
