April 27th: Frank Abagnale Jr.! Born on this day in 1948, he is a former con artist, check forger and impostor, who is now an American Security Consultant. His life story is featured in the movie Catch Me If You Can starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks, with a little Christopher Walken thrown in there. He became one of the most famous impostors ever,[3] claiming to have assumed no fewer than eight identities as an airline pilot, a doctor, a U.S. Bureau of Prisons agent, and a lawyer. After being captured, in France, he served 6 months for his crime there, and another 6 months in Sweden, before headed back to the United States to serve a 12 year sentence. He broke out of jail twice, and ended up only serving 5 years of his 12 year sentence, and then began assisting banks and the FBI with preventing cons.
