As I sit here and think back to last year, 2014 was a year filled with lots of ups and downs. Not sure which I had more of, but I can honestly say that I survived it all. From emotionally struggling through the last half of Victorias Senior Year and leaving her alone to fend for herself at Tech, to picking up a THIRD job to provide; Sierra becoming a teenager, to having my New Years Eve plans shot and spending the 365th day of the year at home doing nothing at all. I have made a vow.....not a resolution, but a V-O-W to myself.....to spend the next 365 days LIVING. Living life as we all should be. Living life for ME......doing things for MYself and MY happiness. The reason why I say this is because I have ALWAYS put others before myself....put my own needs/wants on the back burner and not always been happy about it.....but Ive done that because thats the kind of person I am. I KNOW I have a big heart and want to see others happy. But Ive learned that I want to be happy, too. Is that wrong? I dont think so. It has taken me a while to realize that, but Im glad I finally did. So Im hoping for an AMAZING 2015. Why??? Because I know I DESERVE it. I deserve love, happiness, success and all of the other good things that come with being a GREAT person. Im ready......ready for all the blessings this New year will bring.
