As you all know, I am supposed to be kept from getting stressed because of my eye. Oh, my. I have had one more day. At 7:30 this morning, there was a bad accident one driveway below my yard. 2 cars and 1 SUV. A lady was killed. I called the accident in to 911. I had an appt. at 9:15 this morning so the police got out of our driveway in time for us to leave. Coming back they had barricades up blocking us so we could not get to our house. We knew where the wreck was so we could get to our house. I just want to tell you what Art did. He went around the barricade. There was no policeman at the barricade for us to ask if we could go around. But, there was a policeman (and I do use that name loosely for this particular one), sitting behind a bush on a motorcycle, that you could not recognize as being a police vehicle. Boy, after we went around that barricade he came toward with blue lights flashing and he got off that motorcycle and starts hollaring at Art saying, dont you know you are not to go around a barricade? Art said he didnt see a policeman to ask and that we lived above the wreck and that I had called it in. He did not care. He told us he was going to give us a ticket. All he wanted to do was give a ticket and see Arts drivers license. He never asked if Art had a weapon or anything. I asked the cop if we could give a citation to all the cops blocking our driveway. I dont know if he heard me or not. I tried to video it on my phone, but, I was in a hurry and didnt want the cop to see me doing it. I was afraid he was going to arrest Art, because since Art has been in law enforcement himself, he knows what they do. He finally realized we were telling the truth and only gave a verbal warning, but in that hateful, vengeful tone of superiority. I have had a stressful morning. But please be in prayer for the ladys family that died this morning and for the others that were injured.
