Ask any person in America ... What are you? and you will get answers like, Irish, Italian, African or 1/5 native or any number of responses. I love looking into my heritage and seeing where my ancestors came from and I am proud of that heritage. However a story about how the Irish do not see Americans with Irish ancestry as Irish made me think a bit. Cant we just be okay with saying American, thats who we are. Mention your ancestry and still be proud of it, But we are Americans, the greatest nation in the world, the greatest nation that has ever existed. Countless Men and Women gave all for what we are, many live with injuries from protecting our nationalism. Morgan Freeman gave an interview where he said that we should not even use our race as a label. He said we are all just Americans. So ask me who I am and I will tell you , I am American... very proud and exceptional. I am blessed to live in the greatest place on the planet. When I die and go to heaven my trip will not be as long as folks from other nations.
