Position Related: To enhance the capacity of Legal department through addition of a well experienced resource. Education: Degree(s)/Major(s): LLB from a reputable university, having LLM shall be an added advantage. Relevant experience from a well know organisation/law firm Telecom related legal expertise. Will Gain knowledge and Exposure while working in the capacity of as Assistant Manager in Corporate Affairs Your typical day at work: Should be able to independently handle legal affairs of the company mainly in the following areas: Review and/or prepare all general and telecom specific contracts Provide opinions and strategic advice to internal stakeholders on issues having legal implications Provide support on telecom regulatory matters Dealing independently with the litigation of Company including but not limited to co coordinating with external counsel All matters pertaining to property management including title verification of the properties whether acquired by lease or purchase Dealing with matters related to real estate including but not limited to registration of documents of the properties so acquired by Telenor around the country as required Calculating legal fee for completing property transactions including stamp fee, registration fee etc. Maintaining database and record of all the above referred transactions Assisting the Vendor and/or real estate as the case may be in completing the Government obligations related to the properties (e.g. obtaining or assisting in obtaining NOCs etc) required for effective deliberation of the network maintenance/rollout. Providing legal advice with respect to HR/service law related legal issues All legal matters as assigned by the Director/Manager Legal from time to time Legal research Analysing legal prepositions under different scenarios and coming up with practical solutions Should be able to deal with franchise related legal issues, including making of contracts/addendums etc.
