At dinner tonight, at a restaurant, Ellie decided to smash her face on the table. I look on her bleeding mouth and find that the piece of tissue that connects her upper lip and gums is split. After rushing out and calling the advice nurse in the car, I learn that they no longer treat this type of injury. So now Ellie has an open wound in her mouth that she keeps wanting to touch because it is sore. Praying it doesnt get infected.
