At my Mams Funeral Service we followed her wishes in having a small Funeral Service and even though she does believe in GOD my Mam wanted no Vicar to do her Service, so we had a HUMANIST, He did the service at the Crematorium and he also did the Eulogy. We were asked to pick three songs the beggining, the middle bit and then the end bit... I did find that very hard as my Mam liked to sing but her songs were from another era... so I choose Marble Halls by Enya them the 23rd Psalm The Lords My Sherpard the older version and also the last departing song was No regrets by Édith Piaf – French singer, because my Mam liked her and she also did visit her Grave in Pere la Chaise Cemetery in Paris. Richard the Funeral Director/Humanist also read out two poems the first was FOUR FEET.
